Registered in the Provincial Registry of Tourism Companies and Activities (for Travel and Tourism Intermediary Agents, INFUETUR Resolution No. 541/24), Instituto Fueguino de Turismo. RNAV file: 21190 · INFUETUR Res. No. 325/26 · Authorization No. 226/26. As part of that process, registered in the National Registry of Travel Agents (FAEVYT) No. PENDING.

This website is informational in nature. It presents the experiences POLARAVIS offers in Ushuaia and Tierra del Fuego, with the detail each interested person needs in order to assess the offer.

The site does not process payments or confirm bookings automatically. Every inquiry, quote and booking is handled directly on WhatsApp, where a member of the team provides the specific information for each experience before confirming any contract.

Accessing and using this site implies acceptance of these terms.

The contents (texts, photographs, design, brand) are the property of POLARAVIS or are used with the corresponding authorization. Their total or partial reproduction without prior authorization is not permitted.

This site may include links to social networks or other third-party sites. POLARAVIS is not responsible for the content or the policies of those external sites.

POLARAVIS reserves the right to modify the content of the site, including these terms, without prior notice. The version in force is the one published on this page at the time of consultation.

Legal capacity to contract is required in order to book an experience. When minors take part, the adult who makes the booking is responsible for having the corresponding authorization and for meeting the requirements each experience sets for their participation.

POLARAVIS designs, selects and coordinates each experience together with providers specialized in each activity (sailing, trekking, horseback riding, lodging, among others). This curation is what makes it possible to offer experiences in small groups and with personalized attention.

For any inquiry, claim or issue related to a booked experience, POLARAVIS is the responsible point of contact. Coordination with the providers is part of the management POLARAVIS takes on when organizing each experience.

Some experiences involve physical effort or outdoor activity on variable terrain. The physical fitness requirements and the health conditions relevant to each activity are provided during the inquiry prior to booking, and it is the responsibility of the person booking to report any condition that may affect their participation.

Booking any experience works as follows:

1. Initial inquiry via WhatsApp, contact form or email.
2. Personalized advice on the chosen experience, including terms, requirements and availability.
3. Confirmation of the booking according to the terms agreed during the inquiry.

Prices, payment methods and the specific terms of each experience are provided during the inquiry and are not published on the site.

Weather conditions in Tierra del Fuego, or any other event of force majeure or fortuitous event beyond the control of POLARAVIS (for example, measures taken by government or health authorities), may require an excursion to be rescheduled or canceled for safety reasons. In those cases, we seek to reschedule the experience for another date. If that is not possible, the amount paid is refunded.

Cancellation terms when the passenger decides to cancel (outside cases of force majeure) may vary by experience, since they depend in part on the terms set by each provider POLARAVIS works with. These terms are provided during the inquiry prior to confirming each booking.

POLARAVIS, in its capacity as the party responsible for the file, registry or database, complies with the provisions of Law No. 25,326 on the Protection of Personal Data.

Data we collect. When you complete the contact form or write to us on WhatsApp, we may collect: name, email, phone number and the content of the inquiry.

Purpose. This data is used solely to answer inquiries, provide advice about the experiences and manage bookings.

Who we share it with. The data is shared only with the operators that run the experiences. WhatsApp messages are additionally subject to the privacy policies of Meta Platforms, Inc., a company based in the United States.

Retention. Inquiry and booking data is kept for a period of 10 years.

Rights of the data subject. Every person has the right to access their personal data (Art. 14 of Law 25,326) and the right to have it rectified, updated or deleted where applicable (Art. 16). This procedure is free of charge and POLARAVIS must resolve it within five business days of receiving the request. These rights may be exercised by writing to info@polaravis.com, or by contacting the Agencia de Acceso a la Información Pública (AAIP), the supervisory body for Law 25,326, at www.argentina.gob.ar/aaip.

PENDING (confirm with the development team whether the site uses analytics cookies, social media pixels or other tracking tools; if so, add detail on which ones and how to disable them).

Users of this site have the right to request the revocation of a booked experience (right of withdrawal) and to cancel services contracted at a distance, with no need for prior registration or additional procedures, under the terms of Art. 34 of Law 24,240 and Art. 1110 of the Civil and Commercial Code.

Because these are experiences with a set date, the right of withdrawal must be exercised at least 24 hours before the date of the excursion.

For security reasons, POLARAVIS may request confirmation of certain booking details in order to verify the identity of the person requesting the cancellation or withdrawal before processing it. POLARAVIS responds within 24 hours of the request, with an identification code for the procedure. Service hours are 8 a.m. to 9 p.m., every day of the week.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Argentine Republic. In the event of any dispute, the parties submit to the jurisdiction of the ordinary courts of Ushuaia, Tierra del Fuego.
