A sailboat crossing to Puerto Williams, in Chile, and several days of trekking through the massif of the same name, the southernmost in the world.

Miradores del Martial

A climb from the Glaciar Martial Mountain Center up to the mountain cirque and its three hanging glaciers, with a stop at the main viewpoint and at the Cerro Godoy viewpoint over the Bay of Ushuaia.

Duration: approx. 5 and a half hours

Difficulty: Low to medium

Distance: 6 km / +350 m elevation gain

Glaciar Vinciguerra
(Ice Trek)

A full-day trek through peat bog valleys, meltwater rivers and subantarctic forest to the Glaciar Vinciguerra, with a final crossing over the ice wearing crampons.

Duration: 8 hours

Difficulty: Medium

Distance: 12 km / +545 m elevation gain

Senda Costera
and Bahía Lapataia

A route through Tierra del Fuego National Park, between forest and rocky beaches, over the archaeological remains of the original canoe peoples, with a constant view of the Beagle Channel.

Duration: 6 hours in the morning, or 4 and a half hours in the afternoon

Difficulty: Medium

Distance: 8 km / +250 m elevation gain

Season: November to April

Cerro Guanaco

The only trek in Tierra del Fuego National Park with a 360° view. It follows Lago Acigami and climbs through primary lenga forest to the summit, with a panorama toward the mountain range on the Chilean side.

Duration: approx. 8 hours

Difficulty: Medium

Distance: 8 km / +900 m elevation gain

Season: summer

Glaciar Ojo del Albino

The most demanding of the single-day treks. It crosses forest, peat bog and high-Andean vegetation before the final climb over scree to the glacier.

Duration: 10 hours

Difficulty: High

Distance: 18 km / +810 m elevation gain

Season: year-round

Dientes de Navarino

The southernmost trekking circuit in the world, on Navarino Island, Chile. A sailboat crossing from Ushuaia to Puerto Williams and a multi-day traverse of the massif of the same name, among peat bogs, forest and mountain scree.

Duration: 6 days (5 nights)

Difficulty: Medium to high

Distance: over 40 km

Season: December to March

Martial Sunset

A sunset hike along historic trails of the Fuegian forest, with a stop at the mountain dome for mulled wine and a mountain stew dinner at the refuge.

Duration: 4 and a half hours

Difficulty: Low

Minimum age: 6 years old

Season: November to May

Frequently asked questions

Which trek should I choose if it is my first time?

Miradores del Martial. It is the least physically demanding on the circuit and suitable for most people in decent general shape.

What is the difference between the Glaciar Vinciguerra and the Ojo del Albino?

The Vinciguerra is medium difficulty and includes a final crossing over the ice with crampons. The Ojo del Albino is the most demanding on the circuit, with greater distance and elevation gain.

Do I need previous trekking experience?

It depends on the route. The low-difficulty ones do not require it. The Ojo del Albino and the medium-to-high difficulty treks call for good physical condition.

Is there a night option?

Yes. Martial Sunset combines a sunset hike with dinner in a mountain dome.

Are there treks longer than one day?

Yes. One of them is Dientes de Navarino, on Navarino Island (Chile), which combines a sailboat crossing with several days of trekking through the massif of the same name. Ask us about more options.

Do I need special documentation for Dientes de Navarino?

Yes. It is an international crossing into Chile, with customs and immigration procedures in Puerto Williams. A passport or national ID card is required to cross.
