POLARAVIS was born from daily contact with the water and the mountains that surround the southernmost city in the world. It grew out of years of work at the heart of local tourism and one certainty: the more personal the experience, the deeper the connection with the territory.
We know when the channel is calm and when it is not, how to read the territory in every season and how to build an itinerary that matches what each traveler is looking for.

Ushuaia and the Beagle Channel
Ushuaia is the southernmost city in the world that is permanently inhabited. The end of National Route 3, which begins in Buenos Aires more than 3,000 kilometers away, is here. Behind it, the Beagle Channel and, further south, Antarctica.
Today, thousands of sea lions live on the islands of the channel, along with colonies of cormorants and albatrosses and, on Isla Martillo, Magellanic and gentoo penguins.
The mountains surround the city on three sides. In autumn, the lenga trees on the slopes turn red, orange and yellow. In winter, Cerro Castor, the southernmost ski resort in the world, is open. In summer, Antarctica opens up.
